A bit part actor who appeared in Games of Thrones has been plucked from obscurity to model at London Fashion Week.
Gary Wales had a non-speaking role as Healtor Frey in the acclaimed HBO series after catching the acting bug at primary school.
Now the 22-year-old will make his debut as a catwalk model at one of the biggest events on the fashion industry calendar.
He’s been chosen to model clothes for emerging designers at a September showcase.
Gary, from Bo’ness, near Falkirk, has appeared in a number of short films.
He appeared in the sixth series of Game of Thrones at 19, suffering a gruesome death in the show.
Gary said: “I’ve been concentrating on my acting career and I’m not really a big person for modelling.
“I had some photos taken last month. The photographer had contacts with House of iKons at London Fashion Week and he ended up showing them to people he knew there.
“I’ve had four designers confirmed so far and hopefully I might get more.
“It’s not something I was looking to go into but I’ll give it a shot.”
Gary will be modelling in a show at London Fashion Week for the House of iKons, who aim to be a launchpad for emerging designers.
